I have enjoyed a 25 year career in medicine thus far with the privilege of working across 2 countries from Malaysia and now Australia. I worked in various departments in hospitals, and now have found my passion in being a general practitioner for over 10 years in Malaysia and the past 8 years in Australia.
My experience has given me a true appreciation of various cultures and the role it plays in people’s health and wellbeing.
My medical interests include chronic disease management, preventative medicine, paediatrics, antenatal care, and women’s health. I consider it my privilege to be involved in peoples’ lives and truly enjoy interacting with people, to encourage and help them achieve better health outcomes. I provide shared antenatal care for women at the Sunshine Hospital, supporting mothers and babies during pregnancy and after birth.
During my time off work, I enjoy reading and travelling.
